Windows 10 / 11 Activation Guide

Step 1: Check your installed version

For those using a Pro version of Windows 10 or Windows 11, activation requires a corresponding Pro Windows 10 or Windows 11 key.

If your system is currently running a Home version of Windows 10 or Windows 11, the activation process will necessitate a matching Home Windows 10 or Windows 11 key.

Step 2: Upgrading from Windows 7/8 (optional)

If you are upgrading to Windows 10 or Windows 11 from Windows 7/8: Make a full backup (recommended by Microsoft)

Step 3: Download the installer tool

• For Windows 10, download this tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10
• For Windows 11, download this tool: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows11

Step 4: Run the installer

Run the installer and proceed through the provided steps. However, please do not activate the code at this time; you can skip that step for now.

Step 5: Go to the Activation Section

After completing the installation of your operating system, navigate to the Settings menu. Next, select Update and Security, and finally, click on Activation.

Step 6: Redeem the code
